Firefox and Edge support, richer in-page dictionaries, automatic Local History backups, deck merging and search, and AI card generation from pictures.
Here is what we recently developed that may be useful to you.
🧩 Extension
- Open the dictionary (including transcription, definitions, usage examples, synonyms, and antonyms) directly from the in-page translation popup and in-page card highlights.
- Install Rememberry in Firefox, including Firefox for Android where all extension features are available, or in Microsoft Edge. If you already installed the Chrome Web Store version in Edge, you do not need to reinstall it.
- Use Local History to keep automatic daily browser backups of your decks, cards, and progress. Rememberry retains the latest 10 copies so you can restore an earlier one if something goes wrong, unless the extension, browser, or operating system has been removed.
- In the in-page highlight popup, switch between the question and answer to view the transcription and hear either side pronounced.
Backup note: Local History is not a substitute for a separate backup. If you do not have a Pro subscription with automatic cloud backups, continue exporting your data manually and storing it somewhere safe.
📱 Mobile app
- Open the dictionary from both translation results and learning sessions, matching the extension experience.
- Merge decks by selecting several with a long press and choosing Merge from the menu.
- Search for cards across all decks.
- Generate cards from any picture. In the Generate cards window, open Topic, choose the From uploaded picture preset, and take or upload a photo containing text or objects you want to learn.
Install the extension or open the app to try the latest version.
