Rememberry works as an extension for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Firefox for Android (mobile browser) and Opera. It may also work in other Chromium-based browsers (for example Vivaldi), but that is not guaranteed.

With the extension installed, select a phrase or double-click a word on a web page. Rememberry opens the translation beside the text, with dictionary details when they are available, and lets you save the useful meaning as a flashcard. You can also enter text manually in the app for translation.

The side panel opens Rememberry beside the page you are on, so the page stays visible while you translate or study. It is especially useful when you are watching YouTube or other online videos. Side Panel is available with Ext Lite, Pro and Demo.

Here are the ways you can translate words and phrases in PDF files opened in your browser: 1. Use the context menu (right-click): right-click the selected text and choose “Translate with Rememberry”. 2. Use the toolbar icon (remote files only): select the text, click the Rememberry icon in the browser toolbar, then open the Translate screen. Important: the toolbar method only works for PDFs hosted on a remote website, not for files opened locally from your computer. Due to browser limitations, hotkeys and the Rememberry head-icon next to selected text do not work in PDFs. PDF translation is not supported in Firefox.

You can translate between 100+ languages. Many languages also include a word dictionary with transcription, definitions, synonyms, antonyms and usage examples.

Yes. Reverse translations can help you check a word's meaning, and results are grouped by part of speech when that information is available so you can choose the right sense.

Rememberry needs a few browser permissions to translate and save words on the pages you read: • Access to websites: lets you translate and create flashcards while you browse instead of using a separate reader. Browser-owned pages and sites you exclude are not accessible. • In-page translation: adds the in-page UI; you can turn this off with the In-Page Translation setting. • Tabs & selected text: reads the text you selected when you open the popup, and helps open settings from a reminder. • Right-click menu: “Translate with Rememberry” on selected text. • Local storage: keeps flashcards and settings in the browser, including large decks. • Google sign-in: optional, for account features. Pro syncs cards and progress between the extension and app. • Downloads: used when you export decks. • Notifications & reminders: used for study reminders and the due-card badge. • Side panel: adds the optional UI beside the page. • Page frames: lets Rememberry work inside non-empty frames when needed. The extension does not load remote code.

Without an account, flashcards and settings stay in the extension's local browser storage. With Pro, cards and study progress are stored in your account and sync between the extension and app when a connection is available. You can also import and export decks. No. We do not sell user data, and we do not use or transfer it for purposes unrelated to Rememberry's purpose: translating while you browse and helping you learn with flashcards. See the Privacy Policy for the full legal terms.

Rememberry is a mobile and web app that runs in a modern browser and can be installed on your phone or desktop as a standalone app. It includes translation, card and deck management, study modes, Playback and AI handoffs.

Open Rememberry in your browser and use the install button in the app header. It either opens the browser installation prompt or shows instructions for your browser and device. You can also use the installation option in your browser menu. On Safari for iOS or iPadOS, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”.

No. Rememberry is not currently published in the App Store or Google Play. It runs in your browser and can be installed from there as a standalone app.

Yes. You can use Rememberry as a regular website in your browser. App reminders require installation, notification permission and a compatible browser environment.

Yes, in the Rememberry app. You can generate decks for a topic and language, double-check a translation, ask for help with a card during study, and practice recently reviewed cards after a session. Rememberry does not include a built-in AI chat. It opens your own AI chat with the relevant context and instructions ready to send. Rememberry does not add an AI usage fee, though your provider may have its own account, usage or subscription limits. These features require Demo or Pro app access. The browser extension does not include AI handoffs; with Pro, cards saved in the extension sync to the app so you can use them there.

Text, Listening and Typing are scored spaced-repetition modes. Playback is a separate listening session that reads cards aloud in sequence and lets you control timing and repetitions. Rememberry must remain visible during Playback; it stops if you lock the screen, switch apps or change tabs. You can also choose Standard, Reverse or Alternate study directions.

Yes. The installed standalone app supports offline study. Translation and AI handoffs still require a connection, and with Pro your study progress syncs after you reconnect.

Yes. You can import and export decks in the extension and with Pro in the app. The seven-day Demo does not include app import or export.

Basic is the free extension plan, with limits on translations, dictionary lookups, cards, decks and daily repetitions. Ext Lite removes those limits and adds enhanced extension features, priority support and early access. Pro connects the extension and app with sync and automatic cloud backup. It also includes app access, offline study, Playback and AI handoffs. The free seven-day Demo previews most Pro features without payment details. You can delete your Rememberry account yourself in the app; you do not need to contact us first. Open Rememberry and sign in → Menu → Account → Delete account. Read the confirmation, type DELETE, then confirm. Deletion starts immediately; when it finishes you are signed out. This works in the web app and the installed standalone app. Before you delete: if you have an active paid subscription (Pro or Ext Lite), cancel it first via Menu → Account → Manage. Account deletion is blocked while a subscription is active or past due. If your subscription is cancelled but still active until the end of the billing period, you may delete immediately; any remaining paid time is forfeited. If you cannot access the app or deletion fails, contact us at skyerememberry@gmail.com or via Contact Us. Include the email tied to your Rememberry account. What we delete: your authentication profile; synced data (flashcards, decks, study progress, account settings, sync/backup data); and related demo-user records. What we may keep: billing records held by Paddle; subscription and payment audit logs; diagnostic and error logs; and backup copies until they expire. We do not delete Paddle customer records as part of account deletion. Manually exported backups and third-party data under their own policies are not removed. With Pro, cards and study progress sync between the browser extension and the app when a connection is available. You can save cards in the extension, study them in the app, and sync the updated progress after reconnecting.

Spaced repetition schedules cards at increasing intervals based on your review history and recall difficulty. Rememberry shows a card when it is due and lets you change the suggested recall difficulty before confirming the next review.
