FAQ
• Google Chrome
• Microsoft Edge
• Firefox(https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/rememberry/)
• Opera
Extension could also work in other Chromium-based browser, e.g. Vivaldi, but not guarantee.
Here are the ways you can translate words and phrases in PDF files opened in your browser:
1. Use the Context Menu (Right-Click):
• Right-click on the selected text to open the context menu.
• Click on "Translate with Rememberry".
2. Use the Toolbar Icon (Remote Files Only):
• Select the text you want to translate.
• Click on the Rememberry icon in the browser toolbar (top-right corner).
• Open the "Translate" screen.
Important Note on Local vs. Remote Files: Second method (Toolbar Icon) only works for PDF files that are hosted on a remote website. It will not work for PDF files opened locally (e.g., from your computer's hard drive).
Known Limitation (Hotkeys/Head-Icon): Due to browser technical limitations, the standard translation methods - such as using a hotkey or the Rememberry head-icon that appears next to selected text - will not work when viewing a PDF file.
(Firefox is not supported)
