Review what is due
Previously studied cards appear when due, followed by cards you have not studied yet. Your answers update the spaced-repetition schedule.
Choose your decks
Choose your study decks, card order and which side to show first.
Hear either side
Listen to the question, then hear the answer after revealing it. To hear pronunciation offline, you need an offline voice for the card’s language.
Fit your home screen
Resize the widget to fit your home screen and choose a light or dark appearance.
Add Rememberry to your home screen
Install the Android app from Google Play and open it to load your cards.
- In the app menu, open Widget and choose Add a widget. You can also add Rememberry through your phone’s widget picker.
- Confirm placement on your home screen, then resize the widget to suit your layout.
- Read a card, reveal its answer and choose I remember or I don’t remember.
FAQ
Using the Android widget
Does the widget work offline?
Yes. Once loaded from the app, cards remain available for scheduled reviews offline. Open the app to bring new cards or changed settings into the widget.
Can I keep studying with just the widget?
Yes, you can review the cards already loaded in the widget without opening the app each time. Open the app from time to time while connected to the internet to sync your progress with your account and get cards added on other devices. Cloud sync requires Pro.
Can I use it on iPhone or in the web app?
No. The widget requires the Android app from Google Play. It is not available in the browser-installed web app on Android or iOS.
Do I need a subscription?
The widget is included in Pro and the seven-day Demo. You can try Demo without an account.
Can I use different decks in different widgets?
No. All Rememberry widgets on a device share the same deck selection, settings and review progress.
