Study modes for reading, listening and typing
In short
Rememberry lets you choose how you recall each deck. Use Text to read one side, Listening to hear without seeing the answer, or Typing to write what you remember, all inside the same spaced-repetition schedule.

Three ways to recall the same card
Recognition and production feel different. Switch modes when you want a fresher challenge, without rebuilding your decks.
Text mode
See one side of the card and try to recall the other. Ideal for quiet sessions and building recognition when you can read the prompt.
Listening mode
Hear one side spoken aloud while the text stays hidden until you reveal the answer. Practice connecting the sound with its meaning.
Typing mode
See one side, type the other and compare your response with the answer before you rate the recall difficulty.

Same words, different skills
Each mode targets a different recall path. Mix them across sessions so you can recognize a word in print, catch it by ear and produce it yourself.
- Text builds calm, focused reading recall when you have a screen and a quiet minute
- Listening strengthens recognition by ear: useful before conversations, podcasts or videos in your target language
- Typing forces precise production, so spelling and word forms get real practice
- Pair each mode with Standard or Reverse direction; the app also offers Alternate direction
- When you cannot look at a screen, hands-free Playback reads cards aloud without starting a scored review
