Study screens are great for focused sessions. In-page highlights add another layer: you meet the same words again in real sentences, while you're already reading.

Mark a due card here and it counts

If the card is due, marking the mini-review updates the same spaced-repetition schedule as a review on the study screen. Seeing the word without marking it is an extra encounter. You still need study sessions for due cards that never show up on pages you visit.

In-page highlights, explained

How do in-page highlights work?
With the Rememberry extension installed, saved vocabulary is highlighted when it appears on pages you visit. You can open a mini-review from the highlight, reveal the answer, hear either side, and mark the review without leaving the page.
Does a highlight review count as spaced repetition?
Yes, when the card is due. Marking the mini-review is a spaced-repetition review and updates the same schedule as a review on the study screen. You do not need to review that card again until it comes due. You still need study sessions for due cards that never appear on pages you visit.
Is in-page highlighting free?
The free Basic plan includes limited in-page flashcard highlighting. Ext Lite and Pro unlock unlimited highlighting. See Pricing & plans for details.
